February is African-American History Month, though the shortest of the twelve months,  it is not short on historical facts. I couldn’t let this month end without sharing this fact.

It’s been almost 1 month since we relocated to NY (our “new” home). Here you can go anywhere, find any type of cuisine and shop until your wallet cries “UNCLE” ! !

As a G.R.I.T.S. (Girl Raised In The South), what I’m not used to is extreme cold temperatures and snow.  Recently, we were under a “Blizzard Warning” and though we were spared the brunt of the storm there’s still snow on the ground with more later this week (sigh ! ! ).  So today’s post includes some pictures of a “snowy” NYC from this week enjoy and have a great weekend.

Have a great weekend.
